CHECK THIS PAGE FOR ADDITIONAL HELP
For game infomation click here. Yes, my favourite game is Taiko no Tatsujin, but Rune Factory 3 is tied in first place. Trust me, if you haven't played Rune Factory, it's one of the best games evar (although the 2nd is crap). Download it here for FREE. The game is in Japanese so it would help if you had a bit of Jap knowledge to begin with.
Some basic Japanese terms that you must know in order to play the game are:
はい - yes
いいえ - no
And of course, the names of the characters and places etc. If you know your Katakana well enough, you'll easily figure out what the names of places, spells and weapons are.
Since, I've cleared the game, I'll supply readers with a list of spells in English and Japanese.
变身ベルト - Transformation Belt: this item does not appear in the previous games, but it allows the character to turn himself into a golden Woolly (モコモコ)
Escape
Cure
Cure All
Master Cure
Medi-Poison
Medi-Paralyse
Medi-Seal (can't use magic when sealed o.o)
Light Barrier
Shine
Prism
Water Laser
Parallel Laser
Delta Laser
Dark Ball
Dark Snake
Darkness
Fireball
Big Fire
Explosion
Screw Rock
Avenger Rock
Earth Spike
Sonic Sound
Penetrate Sonic
Double Sonic

Another thing that you'll need to know is that you can't just marry a chick when your love level reaches 10. You've gotta befriend the people who live in the far end of the desert area (can only visit when in Woolly form until later) and complete these requests given by them and the old man in the village, and when that is completed, I think on the day or the next day there is the Exchage Festival (it will be on your calendar) and after that you will receive the recipie/formula, whatever they're called to make a wedding ring. Find your wife-to-be (make sure you make the ring first and I think you have to be lv. 20 or 30 in accessory making) and take her on a date to one of the 4 spots which are located near the monster fighting ranges and chat with her. If your love meter is full, there is an option for you to propose to her. Note that you can't get married when you're just a noob who's like level 50 because this sea dragon will capture the girl and then you have to fight harder monsters than usual and give plants and shit, reach the sea monster, beat it, then get married. Warning: the wedding ceremony is quite long and I don't think you can skip it. Your wife can have a maximum of 3 children, but they can not accompany you to fight enemies nor are they playable characters like in the previous game. Keep in mind that to clear the game, you have to beat the bosses of each area in order or else nothing will appear at the boss area. To increase your friendship&love with the village's residents, talk to them everyday and eventually you will find out what they like (usually in red text...idk) and, duh, give them it once in a while. Giving people what they like on their birthday or winning contests can improve your popularity. The main reason that I like this game the best out of the first and second installments is that you can level up to lv 10,000 which is MUCH better than being limited to level 99. Suprisingly enough, me being level 474 (HP: 19,498 ; RP: 2093), is still too low to beat the lv 220+ dungeon. Dungeons can be found at the door to the left when you go down the ladder at the right of the entrance in your house.
HOT TIP: weapons found in dungeons are stronger than ones sold at shops (and rarer) meaning they also cost more, so they're a good way to earn some cold hard cash or kick some ass when battling foes.
Will add more information later if possible. Comment on this post if you want more information or help with the game.
