Scanlating manga extras to cure boredom

I decided to try out my scanner (and translating skills) so I scanlated the inside covers of all 3 volumes of K-on! (Chinese) that I currently own. As the title says, this was done simply because I was bored as hell and needed something to do. Might as well upload them here or else there would be no point of posting this.

I was thinking of uploading the raw files to mediafire but cbf.

Umineko no Naku Koro Ni colouring

Honestly, I don't even remember what was the last time I photoshopped something. Probably ages before I went to China. Here's a colouring that I did with a sketch from Umineko that I found on oreno.imouto. Really can't be stuffed typing anything so I'll just upload the original image (even though I linked it above) and the coloured image.

おにの3曲:フルコンボ

Felt bored as hell today so I decided to record some videos of me full combo-ing songs in oni mode of Taiko no Tatsujin DS 2 (meccha one). The 3 songs that I recorded were Daybreak's Bell, Shiny Smile and われら無敵のドコン団. The quality is extra shit since the gameplay was recorded through a glass table (not like I'd get someone to record it for me) and the videos are off youtube since blogger takes forever to upload videos. Oh, and if you decide to click the video and watch it on youtube, don't do anything that will require me to communicate with you using the youtube account since I will be using it to only upload Taiko no Tatsujin videos and not anything else. Don't be disturbed by the 連タッチ madness - that's how I got an overall Taiko no Tatsujin highscore of 1,012,410 in われら無敵のドコン団 (oni, full combo: 540) which is around 6000 points or so higher than the auto play version.

If you’re wondering why my DS is usually seen on an angle in the videos, it’s because I obviously can’t full combo a level by looking at the display through a camera.

Taiko no Tatsujin: becoming 太鼓神

As mentioned in the the last post, this post would be about Taiko no Tatsujin. If you're wondering what 太鼓神 (Taiko God) really is, it's the highest rank that you can possibly get in 毎日うでだめし道場 which is a daily single song drumming session found under 道場めにゅー (Dojo menu) that you can play in order to obtain extra costumes, hidden songs and most importantly level up. Firstly, if you want to get to the Taiko God rank, you must practise hard. Personally, the easiest way to beat levels is by using the NDS buttons instead of the stylus (fact: couldn't even full combo さいたま2000 in muzukashii with styluses /facepalm). If you have no problem with beating 8★+ levels in oni (normal clear), you're one step closer to becoming the Taiko God. Anyway, looking back to this post, you can tell that I hadn't beat much in oni, not to mention only a small amount of songs in muzukashii were full combos. Here's an updated めっちゃ!太鼓の達人DS7つの島の大冒険 clear list. The list was made today so it's 100% accurate; unless I somehow beat Ekiben2000 after I post this.

For some full combo pwnage in oni, check out the next post~

Hikari-tan is back!

OMGWTF I haven't lurked here at all for a full SIX WEEKS! I might have not said it on here, but if you've been stalking my twitter you would've realized that I went to China (specifically Beijing). Thanks to the GFW (Great Firewall), I wasn't able to access twitter or blogger. Of course the main reason that I would go to China is that I have relatives there (but who really gives a shit)and to get a whole load of manga and other otaku stuffs (will post photos if bothered). Since I haven't posted anything for quite a while, I'll save the original second half of this post for my next post which will be Taiko no Tatsujin themed. Yes, I've gotten back into the game after ditching it.
